Internationally Educated Nurses

This application pathway is for internationally educated nurses (IENs) who wish to obtain registration and licensure as a LPN in Saskatchewan.  All IEN applicants must first initiate an application for assessment through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS).  The NNAS is an online, streamlined application process where IENs will have their nursing transcripts, nursing employment experience, nursing registration/licensure history and identity documents validated.  When the NNAS assessment is complete, an IEN will receive a copy of their Advisory Report and may then initiate the secondary application with the SALPN.  Details about the NNAS application process may be found at;

*the SALPN will not accept direct applications from individuals who have not fully completed the NNAS application and assessment
