What are Continuing Education Points?

Continuing Education Points (CEP) are calculated on an annual basis at renewal time.  LPNs must have have 5 CEP points achieved during the current license year to establish eligibility  for licensure for the next license year.  LPNs are no longer required to submit proof of these points with licensure renewal, but must keep a record and back up to submit if selected for the random annual audit.
