The morning agenda will focus on lifestyle and fitness to practice. Jen Ruland from the Dr. Paul Schwann Applied Health & Research Center Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies University of Regina, will speak on general physical fitness and tips on how to incorporate physical fitness into your busy lifestyle. Dianne Boy-Fernandaz from the Canadian Mental Health Association will give an overview on mental health and tips on how to “keep yourself sane”, stress busters and laughter medicine. The afternoon will be devoted to finding Life Balance. Laura Soparlo, who taught us about our “colors” a few years ago, will give a very engaging presentation on work/life balance. Nursing is a high pressure profession and the pressure is increasing. We all need to find the balance between the demands at work and at home. Please join us for a fun and interactive day and leave with some helpful hints on how to cope with a busy and often stressful schedule.
